The Life of An Involved Step-Mom, whose Step-daughter lives with them full-time
Yep that’s me. A little over two years ago I was thrown into a role I didn’t have much desire for, but now love….even though I am tired all the time.
I just want to lie on my couch and watch The Walking Dead and Justified, but I got obligations. Tonight….
1. Pick up little one from after school care
2. Feed little one as fast as I can.
3. Sign as many valentine’s day cards as we can before Basketball Game.
4. Get little one to gym by 6:30pm for basketball pictures.
5. Little One’s basketball game at 7:15pm.
6. Hopefully get home by 8:30pm
7. Finish rest of v-day cards.
8. Get little one fast shower and put her to bed.
9. Collapse on our bed at 10pm, cuddle a bit, and then snooze by 10:10pm.
Yep it’s crazy. Yep I am tired.
But when you see her smile because she loves you and is thankful for all you do, it becomes worth it.
