I truly believe this.
I also know that I have been given a second chance at living my life.
I no longer have to wallow in the bottom of a liquor bottle. I don’t wake up hung over. I am not afraid to live.
I can walk confidently through life.
I can love without boundaries.
I can be the director of my life; instead of the person who watches things go by.
I don’t take this second change lightly.
I don’t take advantage of this life because I know what death looks like.
With my second chance, I hope I am able to do the things I want to. I know not all things I want will happen for me. But now I am more able to make these things happen because I have clear focus, strong determination, sobriety, and support.
