Forever Number 1 Girl Crush

I was in college when Felicity came out.  I remember watching the first episode thinking, “Is this the girl who played in some awful lifetime movies?” And yes, yes it was.

I think most of women agree that we probably came of age in college and she was everything I wanted to be.  Brave, yet afraid.  Self-conscious, yet strong.  I loved everything and Ben wasn’t so bad either.  So whenever I see pictures of her, I feel an odd kinship with her.  And it’s that kinship that yeah we went through college together; we fell in love, had our hearts broken, and discovered ourselves at the same time.  

So for that, I love Keri Russell.  Her and Claire Danes in My So Called Life were my girls growing up.

Now we are evolving at similar speeds again.  Both married. Style evolving.
